Update

Nothing really interesting to say about poker. Just trying to grind it out and play as much as possible. I am still plying .50/1 on Eurolinx, which is more then a joke. Worst bunch of players I have ever seen in my life. I had a really bad run for two days last week that put a dent in my bankrole. There was way to many $200+ pots that should have come my way but didn't. No big deal, just frustrating. The hand histories for Eurolinx are kind of weird so I can't post them on here. It's too bad because there some really ridiculous hands. I was starting to get close to moving up to 1/2, but then that 2 day run set me back. One good thing to hear is that the owner of the site said that most likely we are going to go the BC poker championship or what ever it's called. All expenses paid which is nice. He said we are on pace for it as long as we keep up our hours which is about 3 a day, which shouldn't be a problem. I would like to play more but I have classes, and homework pretty much every night. Anyway just a quick update more to come..........

So Far So Good

I deposited $1000 on Eurolinx, and so far it has gone really well. I have only played for 3 days and I have more then doubled my money. I'm playing .50/1 short handed. Mostly heads up cash games and 6 handed max. The players are unbelievable bad. It is honestly a gold mine. I mean I have obv been running good but some of the hands, there is just no way that I should ever get all of the chips in and some how I do. It seems like every 5 minutes I'm laughing and saying to Kristen omg listen to this hand.... I have really changed my style to very loose aggressive due to two things. First of all I am playing short handed so I need to loosen up anyway, but another is that these players play so bad after the flop I feel like the more flops I see there more mistakes I give them a chance to make. I think I have been seeing something crazy like 40% of flops. But when you take into account that I am always playing one heads up and mostly 4 handed I guess that's not too crazy. I don't have any hands saved because there hand history is kind of weird, but I will try to keep you posted on how it's going.........

What the? And Eurolinx.

Although I didn't think it was possible, I actually ran really well in a live tourney yesterday. I actually went to talk to an owner of a poker site. www.eurolinx.com . More about that later. I have all ready said in another blog but I will say it again. During the 3 tournaments at Turning Stone I didn't get AA KK QQ or JJ once. Yesterday however, in 3 hands I had QQ AA and then AA again!! In three hands! Then 5 hands later I got AA again! Crazy the variance in this game. I got action on all 4 hands and won all 4. I went from 1200 and short stacked to chip leader at my table in 3 hands. After that I played pretty solid made a couple of good calls, and always held when I was ahead. I ended up finishing 2nd for 500 which pissed me off especially because I lost heads up to myst. He had about a 3/2 chip lead when we started, he grinded me down a bit, and then I got it all in on the flop open ended against his 2 pair. I won, and I had a bit of a lead. Again he grinding me down, I never really made a hand, and I made 2 bad calls with A high on the river. The blinds were starting to get high and I had less then 10x, so the next hand I played I was all in. He limped on the button like he was doing 50% of the time, and I shoved with QJ, he insta called, whoops, his QQ held and I took a disappointing second.

Now more importantly about the site that I am going to be playing on. Eurolinx is a fairly new poker site that has a really good rake back program. All I can really say about it right now is that it is waaaaaaaaaaay better then poker stars and party poker. I don't understand why anyone would want to play cash games on PokerStars, or other sites if they are not getting a kind of deal like they are offering. It is leaps and bounds ahead of the other sites.

Anyway I playing in another live tourney tonight so hopefully the aces keep coming, and holding. I will be back........
