Crazy Week

On Sunday I had my biggest cash in my 3 year run at online poker. I took down the $109 rebuy for 34k, which was double my biggest cash up to that point. It was by far the best I have even run at a final table. I was so card dead for the first 40 minutes, that I didn't play a single hand. 5 people busted quickly, and I was the short stack with 4 left. I picked up AA in the bb, and 2 people shoved ahead of me, with K10, and A7. Just for fun I flopped my 1 outer set, and avoided a scare when K10 bricked his flush draw that he picked up on the turn. It was especially scary because the same guy sucked out with about 20 left, with A10 to my AA, going running flush for a chip lead pot.

Anyways, so that guy basically busted on that hand, and we were 3 handed, me being still the short stack but not by much. Then I limped in the sb with K5cc, and the bb 3xed, and I called with both of us having deep stacks. The flop was AcKs2c. I check raised, he shoved and obviously I called. Now what would be the best hand I could ask for him to have in this spot? It was pretty close, with Qc10c he only had 3 outs. He bricked, and busted the next hand.

Now we were heads up and I had a slight lead. This guy I was playing was a losing player, so a chop was out of the question. I got him all in with my As10s to his A9. The board came A 6 Q, 7............. 7, noooooooooooooooooooo, at least it wasn't a 9. About 15 hands later we got it all in, I had AJ, he had 99. This time I flopped the A and it was over. My biggest win ever, and it was by far the best feeling I have had in poker to this date.

Two days later I decided to play the 1k tourney. The first time I had ever played it. I ended up getting down to 10 players, and then winning a MONSTER race with AK to QQ. That put with with a 2/1 chip lead going to the final table. This tourney had the best structure I have ever played online. I lost a huge pot with AK to KQ all in pree when he hit a Q on the river. That put me in the middle of the pack. But with the great structure it wasn't a big deal.

After a while I actually started to get a little frustrated. When we got down to 4 handed, we actually played for 2 hours without anyone being eliminated. That is crazy stuff in online poker. When the player busted in 4th, we decided to make a deal. I don't like deals, but I felt like the other 2 players played really well, and I didn't have a huge edge over them. We basically did an even chop and I took home 55k. I ended up taking down the tourney after the chop, but it lasted about 3 hands without anyone actually trying.

So all in all it has been a really crazy week for me, and it's only half over. I am going to try for a triple crown, although I'm not really sure if yesterday would count since we chopped.

Krissy is also killing it right now. She hasn't had any big wins, because she keeps running so bad at the ft. But she has made a final table 4 nights in a row now. She is currently on the ft of the 109 (which she also ft'd yesterday)! GLGLGLGLGLGL Krissyb.
