Had a lot of fun in TS. Mostly coming from laughing at Lacasse from having the worst luck I have ever seen. First his credit card gets blocked and he gets harassed from the security guards for not paying from his room. Then he gets accused and interrogated by state police for looking identical as someone who stole a laptop in the tournament he was playing in. Luckily Kristen knew who the guy was, and was able to clear Lacasse. This was lucky because I said to Lacasse as we were waiting in the police office, I have to get back to gambling, and if they ask me I'm going to have to say it was you. This was by far the worst bad beat I had seen all week. And for holding him for 4 hours for no reason, they gave him the poker rate on his hotel room on Sunday. And let's not forget the $18 free meal at the Emeralds.

I didn't end up playing in the $500 tourney. The night before I got a little drunk and played 2/4 limit. This was by far the most fun I had playing poker for the trip. The average stack at the table was about $30. So I figured a good number to buy in for would be $1000. I think Lacasse bought in for $500. I ran about as bad as you can in the game, capped every single hand blind. The rule we came up with was to look on the turn. I chopped 2 pots in 2 hours, which got extremely expensive. I ended up losing $700 in the game, which I am guessing is an all time record in that game. Although I lost the money, it was still soooooo much fun, and it's a rule that I have to do this once every time I go to turning stone. Lacasse broke about even, but he tipped over $400, which was absolutely crazy. We made a lot of friends in that game, and they were all eager to play with us again, to say the least.

I won a sat. in to the 1k event and ended up playing. I felt like I played extremely well, and the structure was absolutely amazing. By far the best structure I have ever played in. It started with about 180 players at 10am. They decided they would play down to 15 players, which was in the money. It ended up going until 2am which was just nuts. I made it to day 2 with 70k in chips sitting just above average. However on the next day things were going really bad. Every spot I got in was tough, and would either get out flopped, or when I tried to pick up the blinds someone would come over the top. I was committed to call an all in with Ad9d, and I lost to AJ. Then I picked up AK and got out flopped. Then I picked up 55 in the bb when I had about 35k in chips. The cut off who was the big stack who was raising half the hands 3xed and the puck flat called. It was an easy shove for me and a great time to squeeze. I would have done the same move with anything decent, because the only hand I think I can get called by is the cut off picking up a huge hand, or the puck having AA or KK, because I don't think he flats with anything else that is good enough to call me call in with. Sadly for me he did have AA, and I busted in 12th for 2.3k. This was tough to take, as first was 55k, and I really though I had a good shot. Although it was really disappointing, I was still happy with the way I played. I felt like I played great small ball poker, and I was only all in twice in the entire tourney. Our friend BillIvey ended up finishing 2nd, so congrats to him.

On Monday, Yves, Krissy, and me played the 2/5 game that eventually turned into a 5/5 game. We seriously absolutely crushed the game. Yves cashed out 1700, Krissy cashed out 2900, and I cashed out 2500. Krissy made the most disgusting call I have seen in a very long time, which you will be able to read about in her blog soon.

As for now it's back to the online grind. I'll be back.........
