Update

I moved up to 1/2 ran horrible for a week, lost 2k, back down to .50/1 and I'm up about 1k since then, close to taking another shot at 1/2. It's hard to put in a lot of hours right now because of school and stuff. Seems like there is a lot of shit to do right now.

Something else that sucks is that Kristen and I can't go to Niagra for the WPT, because she has an exam on the day of the tournament. Not really a big deal though, as it doesn't look like I'm playing enough to get the fpp's for the cpt in BC at the end of Nov, if I went to the Niagra event. If I had to choose between the two I would pick BC for sure, so it's working out ok anyway.

I'm also going to turning stone tomorrow through Sunday which should be fun. There is a 200, 300, and 500 tourney that I will probably play in.

The worst news to share is what happened to all of the poker clubs in Ottawa. I was playing in a $60 tourney at a local club when about 10 cops barge through the door and say "nobody move, your all under arrest". Not only did the club I was in get raided, but so did the other 4 clubs in Ottawa. The cops seized 12k in cash, along with anything in the clubs that they thought was bought through the money made from the game. The owner of the club I was at (which is actually his house) lost all the poker tables, his couches, his big screen tv, along with pretty much everything else. All they left was his bed, and his clothes. I was charged along with 60 others with being found in a common gaming house. Everyone who I have talked to is confident that the charges will be dropped (as this same thing happened 5 years ago and all the players charges were dropped), but just to make sure, I am meeting with a lawyer today to get his advice. In my opinion this is so F,ing stupid I don't know where to begin. Playing a friendly game of cards with friends at a house, and the owner of the house taking some money to cover the costs is a huge crime? I guess it's better to go get drunk at a bar, this is much safer for society. What a joke.

Anyway I will be back with updates, most likely after turning stone. Can I maybe run well in one god damn tourney at turning stone? Just one?

Swings

Well I have been playing on Eurolinx so far for 3 weeks now. I initally deposited 1k. I 4-6 table .50/1. Almost right away I got it up to 2k, and then for like 2 weeks I battled between 3k then back down to 2k then back up to 3k, ect. It seemed like every day when I went to bed my account would say 2600. Sooooo frustrating. Mostly running really bad, but managing to scramble to stay even. On Friday I woke up with 2k in my account played all day and got it up to 3.1k. I woke up in Saturday and my account said 4.1k. I was like wtf? Did I play in my sleep? Then I realized that my deposit bonus of $1000 finally passed. What a sick bonus that is. I played all day Saturday and got it up to 5.3k. So the last couple of days I have gone on a sick run, and it feels great. I have been running really well, and running into soooo many donkey's who can't fold a hand. I wish their hh was good so I could post some of the hands, because they are soooo funny.

Something else that is great is that myst told me that Kristen and I are most likely going to be sponsored in the 2500 buy in at Niagra in a couple weeks. And as long as we keep up the same pace, we will also be sponsored in the BC open in November. This site is sick. Not only are the players soooo bad but the site has a great rake back program.

Another thing that I was thinking about over the last couple days is if the retarded govenment in the US actually does stop American's from playing online poker, then a lot of the games are probably going to dry up. Not Eurolinx though, because all the players are European. Sweet!! I feel really bad for all the kids who live in the States right now, if this new law actually goes down. I have no idea what I would do if I wasn't able to play online poker.

So anyway more updates to come......
